When necessary, an ad-hoc committee may be formed to help with various aspects of a particular event.  When a committee is not necessary, the Event Chair identifies the location for each event, selects menus and ensures the facility has the proper set ups (flags, podium, sound system, etc). The Event Committee also coordinates events with other SRW Committeea such as Program, Public Relations, Ways & Means, Treasurer and applicable others.  The Event Chair is a Board member and provides status reports at the SRW monthly Board meetings.
