Organizations we support (and website links to them):

• Barbara Bush Literacy Program/ Laura Bush Foundation for Americas Libraries: Promote the donation of books and related materials to local libraries, schools, doctor’s office and other public institutions.
• Pease Greeters - providing our troops treats and support of a warm welcoming as they pass through Pease Airport traveling to the Middle East or coming home. http://peasegreeters.org/

• Caring for America - encouraging volunteerism in private sector initiatives in our communities.  We participate in the Seacoast United Way Day of Caring.

• Liberty House Veterans Shelter  - collecting funds to support their living expenses.

• NH Food Pantry - collecting donations and volunteerism.

• Dress For Success: providing professional attire to women of low income and boosting their economic independence.

• Operation We Care: collecting items for Christmas care packages at our Christmas luncheon for the U.S. Troops serving in the Middle East in conjunction with the Kingston VFW Post 1088.

• Bridges of Learning: We donate school supplies to students/teachers of Afghanistan. All funds are put towards this charitable effort, therefore Bridges does not have a website. Please contact the committee with any questions on this organization.

• Honor Flight New England: collecting donations to transport our heroes to Washington, D.C., to visit and reflect at their memorials at no cost to the veteran.

• A Safe Place (NH):  collecting donations to support this non-profit organization that provides free shelter and support services for those who are victims of domestic abuse.
